Bio-Cultural Diversity, Environment and Sustainable Development (Village Studies)

The project objective of the project was to elucidate and analyse the changes with respect to following four main components:

  1. Livelihood Practices
  2. Education
  3. Health and Health Care Issues
  4. Development Initiatives

Combining expertise available in various sections, like social anthropology, biological anthropology, human ecology, linguistics, folklore and psychology, the study of 50 villages was undertaken.
