Auditoriums

Facilities at Head office, Kolkata: 

Auditorium

The Head Office of the Anthropological Survey of India in Kolkata features a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 300, designated for academic events like Conferences (International/National/State Level), Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, and Training programs. Individuals or organizations interested in renting the auditorium should submit their application using the prescribed format (available on the Anthropological Survey of India website; Downloads), and send it to the email address ansi.auditorium@gmail.com. Additionally, a request letter, on official letterhead from the Head of the organizing Institution, addressed to the Director, Anthropological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, EN 79, Sector - 5, Salt Lake City, Kolkata – 700091, must be submitted at least 30 days before the program's commencement. Please refer to the attached pamphlet for booking charges, rules, and regulations.


Conference Halls

The Head Office of the Anthropological Survey of India in Kolkata features four conference rooms in its new building, each with different seating capacities on various floors: 6th Floor – 30 seats, 4th Floor – 70 seats, 3rd Floor – 40 seats, and the Library Building – 50 seats. Additionally, there are four classrooms on different floors, providing a total seating capacity of 198. These facilities are intended for organizing academic activities such as Conferences (International/National/State Level), Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, Training programs, etc. Individuals or organizations interested in renting the conference rooms and classrooms must submit their requests through the proper channel.


ANRC, Port Blair

Auditorium

The Regional Centre has the facility of a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 250. The auditorium is intended for organizing academic activities such as Conferences (International/National/State Level), Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, Training programs, etc. Individuals or organizations interested in renting the auditorium must submit their requests through the proper channel.

Conference Hall

This Regional Centre has a well-equipped conference room with a seating capacity of 100. The conference room can be used by any organization/institution by submitting a letter of request through the proper channel. The conference hall is strictly allotted for the purposes of organizing academic activities.

SRC, Mysore

Auditorium

The Regional Center boasts a well-equipped auditorium with a substantial seating capacity of 300, making it an ideal venue for academic events such as Conferences (International/National/State Level), Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, and Training programs. Individuals or organizations interested in booking the auditorium should submit their applications to the Head of the Regional Center. The center hosts periodic documentary movie shows specifically curated for students in the auditorium.

Conference Hall

This Regional Centre has a well-equipped conference room with a seating capacity of 38. The conference room is intended for organizing academic activities such as Conferences (International/National/State Level), Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, Training programs, etc. Individuals or organizations interested in renting the conference room must submit their requests through the proper channel.

WRC, Udaipur

Conference Hall

This Regional Centre has a well-equipped conference room with a seating capacity of 60, intended for organizing academic activities such as Conferences (International/National/State Level), Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, Training programs, etc. A well-functioning PA system and an Overhead Projector are available in the conference hall.

NWRC, Dehradun:

Conference Hall

NWRC, Dehradun has a well-equipped conference room with a seating capacity of 100. The conference hall is intended for organizing academic activities such as Conferences. (Currently, the conference hall is under renovation)
