The Fellowship Program at the AnSI is designed to foster research excellence and scholarly collaboration in the field of anthropology. With a mission to advance anthropological knowledge and promote cultural heritage studies, this program offers a platform for scholars, researchers, and students to engage in research across various branches of anthropology, including social anthropology, physical anthropology, archaeology, linguistics, and ethnography. These fellowships, which are tenured, are offered at various Regional/Sub-Regional Centers, as well as the Head Office. There are four types of fellowships available: Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Post-Doctoral Fellow, and Visiting Fellow. Fellows have the opportunity to conduct fieldwork, access AnSI's extensive library and archival collections, collaborate with leading anthropologists, and contribute to the scholarly output of the organization.
